Magadan – The End
Posted by admin | Posted on 27-09-2010 | 2I can remember the pre-departure meeting as if it was yesterday, but what has transpired since has been a blur and will take more than a few days to process.
The 2010 Road of Bones Expedition is done and dusted with ALL clients reaching Magadan with zero injuries and minimal bike issues.
The ride was brilliant, yet challenging at times and I am sure we all had moments that we wished we were at home with our loved ones instead of riding the Road of Bones. However, it is when we are faced with those challenges and overcome them that we can really say we have accomplished something here.
It is impossible to summarize a 100 day expedition so I won’t attempt to, I just want to thank the riders and co-riders and all of you who have followed us on this epic expedition.
We will be back for more next year.
Cheers
Mick McDonald

So bummed we weren’t there with you on this trip! Sounds like it was a true adventure and congratulations for completing it in one piece. …will get details from Joe and Carmen.
Wow – what an “Adventure Mate”. Congratulations on making it through all in one piece. I am sure many a tale will be told for a long time and I think you all deserve the “been there, done that” medal of honour. Thank you for the wonderful blogs and pictures (snow?!) and most of all, taking the time to share the journey with us. You’ve opened up parts of the world rarely seen and most probably much less travelled.
Maybe one day…
Have a safe trip home.
